Sustainable tourism : Sustainable tourism in Tinténiac in Ille-et-Vilaine
Camping Les Peupliers *** is concerned about the environment. We have set up various actions to preserve our planet as much as possible.
Recycle, reduce, reuse and repair !

Thank you for sorting your waste!
- Yellow bins: paper, plastic, metal
- Glass : Bottles, jam jars, etc.
- Compost : Food waste - NEW - (For your stay, ask for a biobucket at the campsite reception)
- Black bins : Household waste
Reduce, Reuse and Repair : These 3Rs correspond to the logic of better waste management :
-
- Reduce : adopt small daily gestures to produce less waste.
- Reuse : give a second life to our objects by repairing them, customising them, refurbishing them, giving them away...
- Repair : We try to give a second life to objects on a daily basis.
With the remains of damaged boards we have created birdhouses, feeders and an insect house. You can find the little creations near the pond.
Goats

Goats love company, petting and love to eat all your leftover food. (Except meat).
Elvis, Bibou and Cabri will be delighted with your visit.
Water and energy consumption

The toilet block have sinks with cold or hot drinking water. The water from the taps on the campsites is also drinkable. Water is precious and wasting it is a luxury we can no longer afford. Please do not waste water!
There are also "prestos" at every water point to limit water consumption.
Reduce your energy consumption.
The sanitary facilities are equipped with a presence detector system. The light will turn off a few seconds after you leave.
Small individual actions : In rental accommodation, remember to turn down the heating when you are not present, adapt the temperature of the rooms....
The shared vegetable garden

The Petit Potager is a small collective and shared garden.
In order to harvest beautiful fruits and vegetables, help us to maintain it. How can you help?
- Remove weeds
- Aerate the soil
- Water if the soil is dry, a water supply with watering cans is available for the Petit Potager.
Green Waste recovery
Every year, we have a company come in to clean the trees. The branches are then chipped. We use them as mulch on our flower beds.
After autumn, we collect the leaves and shred them to obtain dry matter to add to our compost.
